Terms and conditions

Who we are

Pearls of is published by Van Maastricht Onderwijs & ICT. Contact: info@parelsvan.nl.

Playing safely

  • You play at your own risk and follow the traffic rules. Don't look at your phone while crossing the road or cycling.
  • Delft has many canals without railings: keep away from the edge of the quay.
  • Only use the camera view in Then and now while you are standing still.
  • Children play under the supervision of an adult.

Respect for residents

Many pearls are places where people live. Don't enter private property, follow the directions in the app and on site, keep quiet in almshouse courtyards, don't photograph residents and don't come outside opening hours.

Content and services of others

The stories have been carefully put together from public sources, but we don't guarantee that they are complete, nor that opening hours and access are correct on the day you visit. GPS, maps and notifications depend on services provided by others.

Tours for groups

  • You book a tour with a confirmation by email, which states the date, number of participants, package and price. Companies pay within fourteen days of the invoice.
  • You can rearrange or cancel free of charge up to fourteen days beforehand. After that you pay half, and in the last two days the full amount. In severe weather we will find a new date together.
  • The organiser informs the participants about safety and privacy. For schools, enough supervisors from the school come along.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the tour, except in the case of intent or gross negligence. We do not exclude liability for personal injury.

Complaints

Please send complaints by email within two months; we reply within fourteen days. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
